It is with great pleasure and excitement that Dr. Agenter and his team would like to announce the launch of the Brighter Smiles, Better Schools Program. This program is designed to partner with local schools to help meet the needs of their students. We believe that education plays a vital part in developing a strong healthy community.
It is our hope that through building lasting relationships with our local schools, we will make a tangible impact in our community. For every new patient that begins treatment with us, $50 is being donated directly to their school when they bring in their folder or flyer about "Brighter Smiles, Better Schools."
Do you want to know if your school is part of this program? Contact our office today and find out more.
Panther backpack is a volunteer program right from the hearts of the people in the Little Miami community. Our goal is to provide students with six meals on the weekends throughout the school year. For many children, it will be the first time they will have nutritious food to get them through the weekend. By providing food for these children we believe it will help them be more attentive and retain what they are taught in the classroom. Ultimately...“We cannot help children learn until they are fed.”
Every family or individual who has received orthodontic care in our Maineville office should consider themselves a donor of the Panther BackPack Program! Thank you for your generous support.
The Warrior Back Pack Program provides six meals for students to take home every Friday. For many students, this program provides the only means for them to have nutritious food to get them through the weekend. There are 200 students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade that are currently taking food home from this program. Approximately 23% of Lebanon students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.
Lebanon students volunteered to package the food for the Back Pack Program, as well as organized fund raisers for the program. Individuals interested in supporting this program can make checks payable to “Manna Worldwide” and send to Huntington National Bank c/o Lee Pennekamp 1300 Columbus Ave. Lebanon, OH 45036. Please include on memo line: “Warriors Back Packs”. One hundred percent of your donation goes toward the purchase of food for the students.
Every family or individual who has received orthodontic care in our Lebanon office should consider themselves a donor of the Lebanon Warrior Back Pack Program! Thank you for your generous support.
There are children in the Kings School District that rely on resources such as free or reduced-priced school lunches during the week. The Kings PowerPack Program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources may not be available. Last year the program served 270 children by placing a bag of weekend food discreetly in their backpacks on Friday mornings. That's over 8000 bags and 48,000 meals provided to kids in the Kings community last year! Each PowerPack bag contains items that are carefully selected so that a child can self-prepare their meal. The program is 100% volunteer led and operated so all proceeds go directly to the purchase and distribution of food.
The Kings PowerPack Program was founded by Joshua's Place Community Outreach Ministry and partially funded through partnerships with The Wesley Watkins Memorial Foundation, Shared Harvest Food Bank and private donations. A portion of the proceeds of every orthodontic treatment initiated in the Shine Orthodontics Maineville office goes to support the Kings PowerPack Program. Every family or individual who has received orthodontic care in our Maineville office should consider themselves a donor of the Kings PowerPack Program! Thank you for your generous support.

The Sammy Reagan Memorial Scholarship is 100% funded by Shine Orthodontics. It's purpose is two-fold: to help meet the needs of the underserved in our community, and to honor the life of Sammy Reagan. Sammy was a 12 year-old South Lebanon Elementary student that passed away suddenly in January of 2013. Sammy's family is committed to honoring her young legacy by bringing hope and healing to their local community of South Lebanon through Joshua's Place and the new Sammy's Place Learning and Technology Center named in her honor.
If you would like to participate in helping to honor the memory of Sammy and helping reach the underserved in your community, you can make donations to the Sammy Reagan fund. 100% of the donations go to support Joshua's Place in South Lebanon, Ohio. This fund is in no way associated with the Sammy Reagan Memorial Scholarship for orthodontic care. You may email Sammy's mom Jill at sammyreagan.fund@gmail.com for more information.
Shine Orthodontics exists to provide exceptional orthodontic care and establish relationships that contribute to extraordinary community. Our mission and vision can be summed up in two words, JUST SHINE®. Shine is a verb meaning to glow or be bright by reflecting light. Our passion is to shine as a light in our community and to support and partner with others who embrace our vision to do the same. We aim to serve our community, inside and outside the walls of our office, both locally and globally. Our vision comes from Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” Consistent with the notion that of whom much is given much is expected, Shine Orthodontics supports numerous organizations that exemplify our desire to foster extraordinary community.
Shine Orthodontics provides free orthodontic care through Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Ohio, Joshua's Place in South Lebanon, and the Countryside YMCA. Shine Orthodontics supports many other local and global ministries including the Christian Medical Dental Association and Global Health Outreach (international medical and dental missions). Feel free to explore the links above to see what these organizations are all about and how you and your family can become involved in what we call, "Better Smiles for a Better Community". You can also check us out on Facebook to see what we're all about. We encourage you to join us in our vision and Live Life Shining!
