Summer is here, and Shine Orthodontics is excited to return as a sponsor of the 2025 Healthy Kids Triathlon at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon. This annual event brings together families and encourages kids to stay active and involved in their local community. 

Save the date for Saturday, August 16, 2025, and join us for a day full of movement, motivation, and connection. 

What’s Happening on Race Day 

The triathlon takes place at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio, and is open to children ages 6 to 14. Whether they are new to triathlons or already familiar with swimming, biking, and running, this event offers a great opportunity to challenge themselves in a fun and encouraging setting. 

Shine Orthodontics is also hosting an auction for a Full Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment, valued at $6,000. The starting bid is $3,000, with all proceeds going to the Caring for Families Campaign. To participate, you can send a message to the Shine Orthodontics Facebook page or email jen@justshine.com. All final bids must be submitted by Friday, August 15, 2025. 

Check-In and Registration 

All participants must check in the day before the event on Friday, August 15, between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. at the Lower-Level Entrance “D-3” of Countryside YMCA. A signed waiver is required at check-in, and no walk-up registration will be available on race day. A printable registration and waiver form will be available to streamline the process.

The race begins at the Outdoor Pool Pavilion and offers a beautiful outdoor setting for all participants. 

Triathlon Activities 

Here is what participants can look forward to during the race: 

• Swim: Kids will start by swimming in the Olympic-size outdoor pool, following a clearly marked course.
  
  
• Bike: After the swim, they will ride their bikes on the Countryside/Lebanon Bike Trail, enjoying a safe and scenic route.
  
  
• Run: The event ends with a run through the open fields and the Hewitt P. Mulford Nature Trail, offering an energetic finish surrounded by nature.
